New industrial unit for Transforge, Yaxley.

We are pleased to engage in contract with Transforge (UK) Ltd to provide them with a new factory unit and offices at Eagle Business Park in Yaxley. The approximate building size is 21.5 x 50m and the envelope of the building, as shown below, will be a steel frame supplied and installed by SDM Fabrication Ltd, industrial cladding and then aluminium curtain walling and windows.

We are due to hand the project over in the winter of 2012/13.

Three extensions and alterations to Highlees Primary School, Westwood.

We have now commenced works at Highlees Primary School which aims to provide three new extensions to accomodate the new pre-school. Other works provide a complete internal refurbishment of two classrooms and the pre-school areas. Extensive external works will provide a new playground for the pre-school covered by a canopy. New pathways and access wil be provided around the school, all secured by new security fencing.

We are currently aiming to handover the internals by the end of summer holidays. The remainder of the contract is due for handover mid-October.

Contract awarded for environmental improvement works, Fellowes Gardens.

Burmor Construction have been awarded the contract to provide improved environmental works at Fellowes Gardens, Peterborough. The project is for MEARS on behalf of client Cross Keys Homes. Works included are the demolition of the existing garages, block paving, fencing and the construction of bases for the garage installation carried out by a specialist company.

Phase two classrooms, Bourne Westfield Primary Academy.

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the contract to construct two further classrooms for the school. In 2010 we completed phase one which provided the school with two classrooms and a covered way linking into the school. Works are due to start late July and will involve the demolition of two existing mobiles and then the construction of two new classrooms.
