After a difficult
few months the windows and doors have finally been installed at our project in
Ropsley to design and build a new village hall. This has allowed internal works
to start which began with first fix trades and a bird cage scaffolding being
erected in the main hall to install the acoustic plasterboard ceiling.
Plastering work to
the remaining building is underway and second fix trades have been booked in to
follow. Groundworks will be re-commencing in July to get the sewer connection
complete and external slabbing and outstanding drainage installed.
The project is
still on programme to complete in September 2020.
The light
industrial units that are being built next to Burmor’s head office are close to
being finished. The internals have some finishes and cleaning to be carried out
whilst the external areas are complete with the exception of being cleaned
ready for occupation.
The design of the
units makes the project really blend in and compliment the surrounding
industrial estate which is what the planners were intending.
Our carpenters are making excellent progress on our site in Wicken, Ely, with the installation of the roof trusses on going. Plots 13 and 14 are the most advanced with the trusses, fascia and soffit installation nearing completion.
We have the guttering materials on site to complete this section of works and have our bricklayers lined up to build the gables, followed by the roofing contractors who are geared up to start covering in on Monday 6th June.
Works are progressing well on our site in Wicken with the
installation of first floor joists and roof trusses commencing to plots 13 –
16. Superstructure walls are on going to remaining plots with floor joists
scheduled for delivery this week.
External works are also coming along nicely with the
installation of the private foul and surface water drainage complete to all
plots. Main access haul road has also been installed to allow a safe and clean
road for the telehandler to service site.
The next stage for works are to commence with the roof
coverings then continue internally with all first fix works.
Our project to erect 27 new dwellings in Elm, for our client Cross Keys, has now had the foundations concreted to the first 10 plots.
The block-work footings have started to the first 3 plots. This leaves the remaining plots which are currently being excavated and the foundations are to be concreted. We are working in time with the programme and the project is to be completed in Autumn 2021
This is a sample of
three houses we are building for a client. One x 6bedroom 3 storey house and 2
x 4 bedroom houses. All built to a high standard with high spec kitchens,
bathrooms and en-suites. Each property has a detached double garage and will be
serviced via a block paved Access Road.
Currently all
houses are at final second fix and decorating stage with external works
ongoing. Plot 1 has a sale agreed and completion is expected subject to the
present situation by the end of August
