On Saturday 6th June we held our annual football tournament in memory of our Contracts Manager, Chris Dowd, to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
The tournament was held at Hampton Gardens Academy in Peterborough, with 10 teams/companies participating. The schedule was a mirror of the previous tournament where teams were split into two groups of 5 with the top 4 teams progressing into the knock out stages consisting of quarter finals, semi finals and final. The spoils were taken by Prince Energy, on their first appearance at the tournament, after beating MPS in the final. The companies taking part included Aecom, Bsafe Electrical, Dalbergia Group, Johnathan Voss Plastering, Burmor Projects, Prince Energy, MPS, Brook and Mayo, P J Thorys and MKM.
The tournament raised a total of £1232.32 for the British Heart Foundation and we would like to thank all who were involved in making the day a success.
