Contract awarded to build a Passive House in Peterborough

Published on Wednesday 14 November 2018

We have started on our new site in Peterborough which involves taking possession of a Passive House timber frame and completing the timber roof structure and installing the metal cladding roof coverings,  forming the external facade with Siberian larch timber cladding and Velfac windows and doors, carrying out a complete internal fit out including the installation of the services and landscaping and drainage for the site.

Burmor have been in close contact with the Passive House contractor to ensure the air tightness of the building is protected at all times, delivering an efficient home for the client as an end result.

Below shows a photo of the external building upon possession of the site and the Architect’s proposed elevations for the building.

The project is due to be complete by March 2019.
