Superstructure progressing well at Ropsley Village Hall

Published on Thursday 6 February 2020

Our project to design and construct a new multi-function village hall in Ropsley started in October 2019 and the site has already seen a big change with the 6m high steel frame being erected before the Christmas break. The cast in-situ ground floor slab was complete in early January which has allowed the external walls to progress 2 weeks ahead of programme. The next month will see the walls reach roof level to allow the roof structure to be installed which includes pre-fabricated roof trusses and timber rafters to form the vaulted ceiling over the main hall. We are aiming to have the building completely water tight by the beginning of May so the internal works can commence.
