Demo Day at California Road

Our site on California Road has received a lot of local and industry attention; it’s unique design, couple with it's contribution to the housing crisis in Huntingdonshire, has been recognised by the new Huntingdonshire Corporate Plan Strategy and being awarded a place in the finals of four industry awards. Burmor were given the opportunity to showcase the project success with a demo day on site; led by Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Ciara Ruane-Fountain, the purpose of the demo day was to invite reps from LoCal and Kensa to come to site and deliver training to Longhurst’s Sales & Marketing, Maintenance, Housing and Aftercare teams on the products/systems they have provided (timber frame, cladding & ground source heat pump). As many of their employees are unfamiliar with the systems, it was a key opportunity to ensure the successful handover of these new homes for the team and its future residents.

It was organised and faciliated by Burmor, and a success for all involved; feedback from the client was positive, with representatives from Longhurst sharing their thoughts on how in-depth and informative the session was.

Big well done to the team on another successful event!
