Give a Little Love

On Valentine’s day 2024, Burmor joined forces with other Procure Partnerships Framework companies to raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Charity. On a day symbolising care and generosity, we brought together our team to help raise funds for Alder Hey’s Paediatric research, with a specific focus research into Hirschsprung’s Disease. This rare conditions affects many children, and through continued collective efforts, we can help make a difference to the ever advancing medical research and care; the work done by the researcher supports the care of children across the country.

In true Burmor style, we couldn’t just bake to raise money (!!) we had to give it a slight competitive edge… So, we turned it into a bake-off. The entries consisted of brownies, fudge, banana muffins, banana bread, olive oil cake and cupcakes all of which had a lot of thought and effort put into them. Well done to our star baker, Ollie, for his winning batch of brownies.

Across the framework, over £1000 was raised for the charity so well done to everyone involved! Watch out for our next charity bake off :-)
