This project involved stripping the existing tower block back to its shell, removing all windows, internal doors, ceilings and floor finishes, demolition of some internal partitioning, and stripping out the existing mechanical and electrical installations. The whole block was refurbished with new windows, new ceilings and floor finishes, new internal doors, new toilet blocks and redecoration throughout, as well as complete new mechanical, electrical and data installations, new classroom furniture, and two new fire escape staircases.

The project was carried out whilst the college was in full use, with careful logistical and health and safety planning to ensure the project was successfully delivered.
