Private: Burghley House Carpark, Stamford

Client: Private

Burghley House is one of the largest and grandest surviving houses of the sixteenth century, and a prestigious private client for Burmor Construction. The beautiful grounds at Burghley House attract thousands of visitors every year, and we are creating modernised and ample parking for all future walkers, families, and visitors to the area.

The carpark will comprise of multiple surface finishes such as pre-grown grass setts, charging points to cater for the increase in electric vehicles and solar street columns for lighting.

Burmor Construction and L4 Civil Engineering will be jointly donating a defibrillator to the carpark, which will remain in use and unlocked for the general public once the project is complete.

A diverse project for Burmor, and a great opportunity to be on a site that is steeped in history and surrounded by acres of beauty and nature.

The Quantity Surveyor managing this site is Scott Broadbent.
